W.I.P. Wednesday

I think it's been a few weeks since I did a Wednesday post.  I haven't been sewing a whole ton, but there has been a bunch of sewing-related stuff going on.  I don't know if it was because of Black Friday/Cyber Monday or not, because honestly I didn't notice a huge change in traffic to my etsy shop, but I did suddenly have an influx of orders.  I sold four family passport wallets (3 custom-made, 1 pre-made) and a baby quilt, so that was quite a thrill this week!

Yesterday my friend dropped off the backing fabric for the Fussy Fairytales quilt I'm making for her daughter so I can finally get back to it!  The backing is going to be made in the same style as this one.  Here's what I have so far:

{Kona Buttercup, Camellia, Petal, Snow, & chunks of 'Pretty Little Things' leftover from the quilt top}

This week I also worked on a little something for the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day which is this coming Monday, Dec 3.  A sneak peek.....

Hoping you're all having a great week, and I'm looking forward to catching up with what you are all working on as well!

I'm off to the post office to mail the baby quilt, which was purchased by a fellow Canadian.  My first etsy sale for which I will not have to fill out a customs form.  Yay!  :)

That looks like flannel to me too! Bit warm for that down under, but looks interesting anyway!

Ooo, that backing fabric looks lovely! I love pieced backs, it kind of gives me a sense of freedom, it doesn't need to be as perfect as the front so I can try out new ideas :) Have fun!
