For My Dad ~ Camera Filter Case

My Dad is an avid photographer, taking mostly landscape photos, and beautiful ones at that!! Just like our craft has its own set of gadgets and devices that make the process easier or the results more what we hope for, so does his. My Dad asked if I would make a case for him to keep some of his filters (of which I needed an explanation!) for when he goes out on his photo excursions, and this is what I came up with. This case will hold 4 filters at a time and should be small enough to fit in his pocket. I used this pattern for a passport cover, only modifying the dimensions slightly to make it work for this purpose. I was able to use scraps and little bits and bobs that I had already.

Hope you like it, Dad!

Isn't is cool when people ask you to make them something? Very neat little filter case. I have no idea what a filter looks like, but I'm sure it will look even better in that case! Nice and manly, too!

Very cool! I especially love making sewing/crafty things for the guys in my life (husband, dad, brother, etc), seems so neat when they really enjoy them! ;) Thanks for linking up too!
