W.I.P. Wednesday

Ongoing projects:

- my Swoon quilt, 9 out of 9 blocks finished!!!! Next I need to make sure my blocks are square (enough...) and get to work on the sashing, which is not my fave thing to do. I had a little freak out moment today when I hung the blocks all up on the line for the photo, only to notice when I took them down that some blocks had dirty spots in the corners where the clothespins were! Eek! I don't know if the line is dirty or if the clothespins were dirty, but I managed to wipe most of it off and think that with the first wash, whatever isn't already taken in by the seam allowances will wash out. At least that's what I'm telling myself!

- a little something I whipped up today, of course with some of my Swoon scraps. More to come on that later.....

Projects up and coming:

- about this???.....

....still waiting. I'll also need a long-ish zipper, cotton cording, and a few other things! Any guesses??

Hmm.. my guess is a cute pillow. Sorry about the spots on your blocks, but the picture on the clothesline is fabulous!

Awww, I love your Swoon blocks - they're SO pretty!!! Is that Hometown you're using? So lovely :) Can't wait to see them all together! And my guess would be either a pillow...or maybe a bag with your Little Apples...

I'm sure the smudges will wash out. The blocks are beautiful.

Hmmm....making a bag? My first thought was a Weekender but I would think that would be a loooong zipper and not a longish one. :)

The swoon quilt is going to look great. Hope the marks completely come off in the wash.

Oh boy, is there a Weekender Bag in your future??? your Swoon blocks look amazing and my clothesline gets super dirty, too!! I wipe it every couple of weeks and the cloth gets totally black. It's scary to think about what we're breathing in this air sometimes.

OMG. I just love the swoon block and become more enamored every time I see it! I have plans to make a quilt with them...I just have to decide which fabric to use. Decisions, decisions...

The blocks look great! My heart would have stopped if I saw spots on them.

My guess is the Amy Butler weekender bag. If so, you are a braver soul than I.

Love love love this! AGH!!! Swoon indeed. I'm swooning all over here Heather. Must make this kind of quilt. I just must!

Wow! Swoon for sure! That picture is so pretty. You should get a pic of those all hung up and frame it. I'm guessing your Little Apples are going into a pillow since you need cording and a zipper...can't wait to see.
