The end of the Swoon adventure

Finished. And I love it. A lot. All of those bits that frustrated me in the process, the parts where I made "mistakes" in the piecing and quilting, as I suspected none of those are evident now that it is complete, it's just a bunch of Hometown Swoonery goodness. Thanks to Camille Roskelley for such an awesome pattern, to the girls at Sweetwater for such lovely fabric to work with, and to all of you for your kind and supportive comments along the way. Without further ado, the photos....

{The test drive.....hehehe}

That is SO pretty. When people ask me about my quilting I tell them I cut big pieces of fabric into smaller pieces of fabric and then I sew it all all back together to make another big piece of fabric.

I love that you say "craft of the moment" and admit that it can change.

My craft of the moment has been quilting for about 20 years, but that could change.

For now I just change my pillows and my hair color ... a lot.

Thanks ~ Mary

It looks amazing! You really did a great job! Wow, a queen size quilt! Was it hard quilting the middle? I'm going to have to quilt a KING size quilt for my parents for Christmas... and I'm scared. Any tips?

It's so incredible. I can't believe how big it is. I get so intimidated just thinking about quilting but I love admiring them and dreaming of making one myself...one day.

Stop by my blog. I just started a linky party that I'm hoping will grow. Thanks.
