Fresh Sewing Day ~ September

It's been months and months since I have participated in Fresh Sewing Day, hosted by Lynne of Lily's Quilts.  Most months it just sneaks up on me!  What??  October 1 today?

Anyways....this month I decided to participate.  I had quite a few small finishes this month and one baby quilt.

This past month has also seen quite a bit of FMQ practice.  It's getting easier and more natural every time I practice, which is very encouraging!  At first I was sure that I would never "get it".  I encourage any of you who are nervous to try to just jump in and give it a whirl.  I have a few tips that have helped me, in this post from way back in February.

Finally, this month I opened my etsy shop, Winding Bobbins!  I'd love for any of you to pop by.

I hope you've all had a productive month.  Be sure to click on the link below to visit other Fresh Sewing Day posts.

This has been a busy month for you, especially with opening your shop! You have made some beautiful things too (still really love your journal). :) I am going to get some practice sandwiches together and join you on the FMQ journey.
