Today's giveaway is a huge departure from what I usually tend towards. Most often I can be found making quilts and other small quilted items. But I recently learned from a woman at my church how to make infinity scarves, and I'm hooked! So today I am giving away a handmade infinity scarf made with a lovely voile fabric.
The scarf has wonderful drape and is soft and comfortable to wear. The fabric features several different lovely, muted colours - green, blue, orange & gray - along with black on a cream background.

My machine currently has white thread on it-I'm working on my Dresden blades and they are bright primary colors (Pam Kitty Morning; Happy Mochi Yum Yum, Sew Cherry & assorted Lecien and oddball brights).

Lovely scarf Heather! I have white thread on my machine - I use it for pretty much all piecing. I know you're meant to use light grey for cool colours, and light tan for warm colours, but I just stick with white for everything!
I have a slightly off white gutter mans thread ATM, I very rarely use other colours.

Ooooh, what a beautiful scarf - and voile! So soft and drapeable (sp?). Grey is my thread right now - for general piecing. How boring is that?
I piece with grey, so that's what's in mine right now.

Sad to say it is black. My husband left his climbing tree stand out at our cabin and the mice had a lovely time eating away at the material that covered the seat on it. I had to tear it down and use it for a pattern to make a new cover for it.

I've currently got in a dark navy blue for the wall hanging I finished this afternoon.
My thread is what I call Uncle-Bob's-socks-brown. It's a putrid brown, but a perfect match to the cotton knit tube thingies that I'm making for our furniture legs. We moved into a house with hardwood floors and the booties keep the furniture from sliding.
