Friends, I'm definitely feeling like a broken record with this project being all that I have on the go, but this week I am setting a GOAL. I have all of the blocks made (let's be honest, they've been done for a while already....) and I am setting myself the goal of having the top finished by next Wednesday. I'm almost halfway there so I think it is totally doable. And maybe posting today will keep me more accountable. :)
Finally, a couple of big chunks actually sewed together. YAY! |
Some more news, I actually have new projects coming in the near future....
- twin size quilt for my friend's daughter (same family that the Fussy Fairytales quilt went to) using Kate Spain's Cuzco fabric and this stack & whack tutorial
- 'have it all wallet' by Oliver + S - I don't own the pattern yet but I was so inspired by Kristan's recent version of this pattern, only to realize that it's one I had already pinned a long time ago. Something about Kristan's wallet really spoke to me! I love that the wallet has a zipped coin section, plus spots for cash & cards, and that's really all I ever carry around anyways. Stay tuned for that!
I also need to remember (and am reminding all of you too!) that this Friday begins the fall installment of Blogger's Quilt Festival @ Amy's Creative Side. It always sneaks up on me!! Check it out, it's always a lot of fun.
Take care everyone!

Love how your quilt is turning out! And yes, now you're accountable! ;-)
This is a great quilt, I don't mind seeing it again :) I think we all have quilts that we feel like we are constantly posting about, no worries!
Love your quilt Heather! Look forward to seeing both your upcoming projects too!
This is such a beautiful quilt - certainly don't mind seeing it again:)
Wow! This is looking REALLY good! I actually admire your focus, on only having one project on the go!
Yes, I do remember that quilt in progress! And I still love it as much as you did when you started it. Glad to see you have set a goal on finishing it because I am looking forward to posting it to my fb page at http://facebook.com/sewfreshquilts
when it's done!
Your quilt is really lovely! Looking forward to seeing what you're working on next! :)
LOVE the way this is looking. You can do it! =)
This Comma quilt is coming together beautifully. Can not wait to see the finished thing next week.
Hi! I just found your blog through Freshly Pieced and had to jump over because I'm working on a Comma quilt, too: http://ablueskykindoflife.blogspot.com/2013/10/wip-wednesday-49.html. I absolutely love what you're doing with yours. Those blocks are great, and I love the different grays. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Good luck!
Love this!
