Fresh Sewing Day ~ November

Fresh Sewing Day

The start of a new month means Fresh Sewing Day over at Lily's Quilts! Looking back at the month that just passed, as far as sewing goes for me there was a clear theme! It wasn't quite all about the Swoon quilt, but it was pretty much all about the Hometown fabric! I will be finishing the machine quilting on Swoon this morning, so I suppose that means it has taken me almost exactly a month to complete it. Of course it is not yet bound, and that in itself could take a little while even though I actually enjoy the handstitching part of it, but I'd estimate that in a week's time this quilt will be finished!!

It's also small blog meet-up time at Lily's Quilts, so I will participate for the last time since my follower count is somehow up to 49 already! Who are all you people??? :) But seriously, I love it that you have all been enjoying my little blog.

Small Blog Meet

P.S. A few random blog questions........ 1) does anyone find the font size on my blog to be too small (Mom??) ;) I almost find it too small myself and I don't really have vision problems (Question 1 has been answered....I've just changed the font to one point larger, and changed it to black, much better!)......... 2) does anyone know the answer to this: if I re-organize my photo files/folders on my computer will it affect the photos that I have already loaded onto my blog? Thanks!!!

What a productive month, and all of it looks so gorgeous! I think your font is ok, I can read it no problems but it is on the small side. If you reorganise your folders on your computer it shouldn't affect your blog at all as they are saved in the blogesphere.

OH MY! What a beautiful mosaic. I have loved your Hometown AND your Swoon this last month - we have similar tastes!! ;-) & I agree with Lotti about the font & your pics....oh, & congrats on 51(!) followers!

Happy hometown month! Can't wait to see Swoon all boundup. The font is a bit small, but I can read it no probs. If your photos are linked from flickr, then changing your computer files won't have any effect.

I found your blog yesterday and am a new follower. What brought me here?? Your Hometown Swoon! I LOVE IT! I just happen to have 8 half yards of Swoon sitting here. Hmmmm, me thinks I need another half yard. Ya see, I never thought about doing Swoon in anything less than 19 prints but I LOVE what you've done and I am going to attempt to make a very similar quilt. Are you flattered or flustered at that? If I blog about it I will TOTALLY give all the credit to you. I just can't help myself, your Swoon quilt is perfection (as well as all the pillow fronts, mug rugs and whatever else you've been sewing with Hometown).
NOOOOOo idea why I am not logged in here. Ugh.
The font is a bit small for me. I am usually able to read blogs without my contacts in, not so much with yours today.

I love how your October projects all match! They all look gorgeous. :)

Your font size looks okay to me -- it seems right about the normal size that most sites use.

Love everything you made this month! Love your blog too :)
If you reorganise your photos on your computer it won't affect your blog - once they're up they're up!! You delete pictures off your computer and it won't delete them on your blog unless you've set them up in a link but if you've uploaded them they'll stay on your blog. Does that even make sense??!! x
