Swoon Block #6

I think maybe this gray floral print is out to get me. The first block I made, it was this same floral print that I accidentally mis-cut and had to piece to form the center block. Then on this block, when making the final seam I had a little moment where a lightbulb went off in my head and I realized that I had already made a block with this print in the center! The 'plan' was to have each of the 9 fabric prints be the central print once, and be the contrast print once, and somehow I ended up with this gray fabric being the cental print twice!

BUT, that said, I'm still very happy with this block and know that it will not be obvious once finished especially since the gray is paired with yellow in the first block and with red in this one.

Six down, three to go.

Fabric: Hometown by Sweetwater for Moda
Prints used in this block: "Flower Shop" in the colour Mist (gray floral) and "Barbershop" in the colour Stop Sign (red dots)
