One project off the "to be quilted" pile! This is the 'Fast Forward' quilt, named by my son Levi. :) It is entirely constructed out of half square triangles, made from scraps.
Finished size: 33" x 40"
I used scraps from many projects for this quilt, and just for fun I took note of just how many. The list includes Swoon, Chrysalis, Sparkle, this chair cushion, Modern Quarters, Owen's quilt, my mom's apron, my Little House mini, and a few others! Full of project memories, but this one is going to go to our local hospital foundation, to be handed out in the NICU.
I quilted it on my home machine with a bit of an organic wavy vertical line design, using Aurifil 50wt cotton thread. Very happy with the results, and I will do this sort of wavy line quilting again for sure.
The quilt is backed with this super sweet print from the Genevieve line by Henry Glass Fabrics. Just perfect for a tiny baby.

I'm always looking for new quilt ideas, I love this 'Fast Forward' quilt. I pinned it so I could find it again.
Looks gorgeous, Heather. and how nice of you to give it to NICU, I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.
Very beautiful, Heather! I love that style of quilting - it's my "go to" very frequently.
very cute! love the fast forward idea :)
That's so pretty, and what a fun pattern!
How awesome, Heather! Beautiful job!
hey you got it done before Tuesday was over! It looks great! Love your quilting - good going! And what nice use of your scraps!
Fast Forward is fabulous, Heather! Love your quilting, too. Such a fun quilt for a tiny new baby!
Ooh, I like that! It's refreshingly masculine for a baby quilt. GREAT fabric choices.
Love it!
Very nice. Glad you got it finished! Feels good, I'm sure.
I love this - it's so cheerful!
Don't you just love tracking the origins of a scrap quilt! Wonderful finish and destination - and I love the print on the back, too.
What a sweet quilt! You are the best at putting those scraps to good use!
Woohoo!!! Totally love this one. Great name, Levi!
What a beautiful quilt! I love all the movement created with the HSTs and I love how you quilted it!
This is adorable! I love how your bright prints pop against the crisp, white background. I always buy the fun prints that jump up and down at the quilt shop and beg me to take them home -- what I need is to start stocking up on whites and solids for contrast.
I love it! Especially the name your son gave it!
I received some of the nicest things at the hospital where two of my children were born. I need to remember to do something like that, pay it forward.
Thanks for linking up!
Very cute!
I love it!
